What is The Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code was created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, a chiropractor that realized there was an emotional component to why some of his patients didn't heal through chiropractic care.
Testing to Find the Emotions
The testing process uses applied kinesiology, also known as manual muscle testing, or other techniques that can be done long distance that give the same results as a muscle test. Muscle testing is based on the concept that the body is stronger when presented with something true and weaker when presented with something false. It gives the tester a yes or no answer only. It is important that we find the exact emotion and know when it came into your being. This can all be done by testing but no experiences or situations have to be talked about.
Releasing the Emotions
To release an emotion we send a message via positive intention letting the body know it is safe to release the emotion that is no longer serving you. We send this message into the governing meridian of the acupuncture system using motion amplified by a magnet, which sends the message throughout the body. Some emotions are released immediately and others take time to process, sometimes a few minutes, a few hours, by the the next morning, or up to a week or so depending on how long they have been there or how strong they were at the time.
Most people don't feel anything at the time of the release but simply begin to notice a difference in how they react to situations after the fact. Some notice a fleeting body sensation during the release, often accompanied by a deep breath or sigh. Less than 10% of people experience a strong emotion and may cry. A common after effect is fatigue.
