Deanna Mitchell

Deanna has ten years experience billing and coding for certified midwives and certified nurse midwives, as well as birth center fee billing.  She founded Birth Billing Specialist in 2007, which now serves home birth and birth center based midwives throughout northern New England.  Besides billing, Deanna has assisted the midwives with everything from obtaining an NPI number to contracting with many insurance companies to general practice consulting. 

Deanna was also the Office Manager at Birth Cottage of Milford for almost ten years, where she handled State licensing and employment requirements,  medical billing, coding and many other things.  All this adds up to a lot of valuable experience!
